Where is Saunders Located?
The warehouse is located at 27 Stewart Road, Collingwood Ontario, L9Y 4M7. The Showroom is located at 1040 Martin Grove Road, Toronto Ontario, M9W 4W4. Click here for maps.

How do I get an account?
We endeavour to have all schools and public libraries in Canada in our system. Please contact us and we will provide you with your account number and a temporary password. (You may change this password to one of your own.) The set-up will take up to one business day. Your account will allow you to save your order to be placed in the future. Your account will reflect either our discount specials or school or library board negotiated discount.

How do I place my order?
When you are ready to checkout from your shopping cart please enter your account number and password.

How are shipping charges handled for backorders?
Orders under $100.00 (after discount) will be charged a flat fee of $10.00. Orders over $100.00 (after discount) will be charged 9% of your order total. Orders exceeding $1000.00 (after discount), will be charged 3% of order total. Shipping will be charged for on your entire order. Any titles that are on backorder will be shipped at a later date at no charge.

When will I receive my order?
Orders are usually shipped within two weeks. If there are backorders they are usually shipped within 4-6 weeks.

Can I save my order to complete later?
Yes. If you are logged in you can save your shopping cart. This feature "Saved Carts" is found under "More Options" at the top right hand side of the site. Simply start by adding items to the cart. Then click the link "Saved Carts" and name your cart next to where it says "Create a new cart". Then when you are ready to complete your order just return to "Saved Carts" select the order to complete and click "Use" to continue. You may add books to this order or continue on to check out. But note that by clicking "Use" any items currently in your cart will be deleted.

Can I shop in person?
Yes. You are welcome to visit one of our many displays right across Canada. In addition, our Toronto Showroom and Collingwood Warehouse are open for shopping. Please contact us for details.

What is an exclusive distributor?
As an exclusive distributor we are the source for our publishers in Canada.

Why are some titles grayed out?
These are titles that have a later publication date. We know that they will be coming out in the next few months. We would like you, our customer to have all the information available to make your selections. So as soon as we know they are published we will make them active so that you can order them.

Why are tax exempt institutions being taxed on shipping?
We are unable at this time to calculate shipping without tax on our web site. You will NOT be taxed on your invoice.

On the web site shipping charges include taxes but on the invoice it will be included on the tax line.
The web site rounds by each line item. Invoices will calculate by the total.
